Name: Arvid Didinier
Gender: male
Age: 17
Appearance: Arvid is a short, spare boy with a height of about 5' 2". He has pale skin and small, jade green eyes that are often hidden behind a messy curtain of uncombed, dirty brown hair. Some would say this makes it pointless to have glasses, but Arvid refuses to cut his hair. A rangy nose and thin mouth finish off his face. Slightly pointed ears, similar to an elf's, stick out from the side of Arvid's oblong head. One would notice that his fingernails, on the ends of bony fingers protruding from wiry arms (which are quite long compared to his overall size), often show stains from grass or fresh earth in between them.
Clothing: You will find that Arvid does not care about his looks, so he will grab anything at hand if outside of Headquarters. Otherwise, a military fatigue suits him fine.
Craft: Chlorokinesis, the ability to control plants. At will, Arvid has the power to summon, for example, vines to his aid. If a plant is touching him, he may speed up its process of photosynthesis and therefore its growth. Also, he has the ability to name most plants and recognize them by sight or, sometimes, smell. With great effort, Didinier can use solar energy to create food. However, Arvid needs a plentiful supply of water to survive. Toxins have a double effect on him, and pesticides may kill him.
Personality: While friendly at most times, Arvid may lose control over his anger if you anger him, like he did to his uncle Hans (it involved stinging nettle and thorns). Nevertheless, the boy is good-natured in general.
Family~
Father: Nico Didinier, a botanist originally from Sweden.
Mother: Agatha Fleur-Didinier, a Swiss ecologist.
Uncle: Hans Didinier, an industrial fat cat
History: Arvid was born in Boston, Massachusetts from foreign parents. The small home they lived in was constantly being filled with greenery and other exotic plants. Then, one day, Agatha went off to answer the phone while three-year old Arvid was left to ruin one of his mother's prized fruit trees. However, Agatha returned to see that her baby fig tree had grown five feet!
Over the years, Arvid's power was kept secret, occasional mishaps cleared up... such as when he called vines to hold down a bully or when his biology teacher turned around to see a fully grown orchid in front of Arvid, when it was just planted a week ago.
Unfortunately, Arvid's ability as a chlorokinetic became harder and harder to conceal as he struggled to contain his emotions. Finally, Nico received a mysterious letter explaining the purpose of the Malum Sodality. And so, Arvid found himself in a strange academy full of... different people, like himself.
