Appearance: Louis is of average height, 5’7. He is very thin, but has a small amount of lean muscle. As a side effect of his craft, he has extremely little body fat, and it is extremely difficult for him to gain or keep weight. Louis is of African descent, and his skin is pigmented unusually dark, almost black. Luis has dark brown eyes, and keeps his head completely shaved.

Louis has very little strength or endurance due to his slight build.

Clothing: Louis loves to be well dressed. He often wears dress shirts and ties. He has no problem with wearing a uniform, in fact, he would welcome it.

Craft: Louis’ brain fires extremely fast, and overall, it is larger than most human brains. This causes him to be extremely intelligent, he learns information very easily (he has taught himself almost everything he knows. He can also speak many different languages including English). Louis will often be considering an array of things, or be doing math, while carrying on a conversation. Overall, Louis’ nervous system is very advanced and quick. Thus, his reflex’s are superhuman.

Louis’ brain is so advanced, that he can sync his brainwaves with those of others. So, he can intercept information from other people. The information is basic, such as direction, or intentions. He can take the information from an unwilling victim, or he can project his own to other people. Distance is a major factor in the clarity of his ‘readings’. His power can be used for a hostile purpose, or he can use it to transfer basic information between allies without speaking.

Louis’s power allows him to implant thoughts into a persons mind. For instance; if he tells someone’s brain they are tired, repeatedly, they will begin to believe it. This often takes a while, and he often just chooses to project emotions.

The ability to project emotions is a blessing and a curse for Louis. With some effort, he can project artificial emotions, such as fear or sadness into a victim, but it is much easier to impart the emotion he is currently feeling. However, Louis brain constantly syncs itself to other’s brainwaves without orders. This means that other thoughts and mostly emotions constantly barrage his mind. So Louis’ emotions are subject to change, if he does not keep his consciousness in check.

Louis can tell when other people or malums are around him, by interpreting their individual brainwaves. The less human a malum is, or the more mutations their brain has gone through, the harder it is for Louis to interpret their thoughts. For example he would not be able to understand a dog’s brain, except for the simplest emotions and notions, however, he can still impart similar basic thoughts to the animal.

Due to his enhanced brain function, Louis needs to eat large amounts of food to survive. While the normal human’s brain uses about 20% of the calories consumed, Louis’ uses up around 35-40%

Weapon of Choice: Louis tends not to use weapons, but he can use most small arms. He would rather make use of his powers.

Personality: Louis is emotional, due to the many changes in his mood that he goes through, but he tries to think logically, as he knows he should be able to. Due to the fact that he often can't regulate the stream of other's thoughts throughout his mind, Louis often spends time alone, or with one or two others. He absolutely can not stand crowds.

Family: Louis had a mother and father, however, both are dead.

History: Louis grew up in poverty. He lived with his parents on a small farm, barely growing enough to survive. As he grew, Louis’ brain continued to grow, and continued to require more and more nutrients. His slight frame made him less then useful when farming. After a particularly bad year, Louis’ parents could not provide for their son. They didn’t want to, but they were forced to send Louis to an orphanage, he was to tell the people there his family had starved, as so many families had that year. Louis parents vowed they would come back when they had enough food. That was the last time Louis had ever seen his parents, he was 8.

After 3 years, Louis ran away from the orphanage. He made his way back to the place he had once lived, only to find a decrepit shell of his old hut, surrounded by a small plot of arid fields. For about a year, Louis lived in his old house, eating what he could, stealing from the nearby town. Soon he began to run out of options, he had less and less means to sustain himself. He began a trek from his home to the Sodality, this took close to a year. He scavenged what he could, and began to master his craft, using it to find his way onto busses or planes.

Louis has since lived at the Sodality for three years.

(Also note Louis comes from an area that was strongly influenced by past French occupation, hence his name)

Extra: Even though he has taught himself to speak other languages, and is almost a walking dictionary, Louis speaks in a west African accent. He learned most everything he knows while at the Sodality.

Due to the fact that he can not stand crowds, and since his craft is so like Euphy's, Louis is her understudy. She is the one person he consistently talks to, and is around.
