First Encounters - The Young Malum and the Kindly Doctor

A young Malum came running into the infirmary, her long, blue hair waving in the wind. She was wearing the standard uniform for the younger female students, a white shirt, grey skirt, and black stockings with matching shoes. One may have suspected that it was modelled after Euphemia's attire, and one would probably be correct. "Dr. Taoho!" The young Malum screamed as she ran into a tall man wearing a laboratory coat. She grabbed his waste and began to sob into his knee.

The man let out a deep sigh and knelt down to her level, so that she was just under his short, curly brown hair. He adjusted his glass and held her arm up with his other hand. There was a deep gash on her palm that was bleeding profusely. "You should be more careful Frannie, this is the second time this month." He said in a soft tone to the young girl. She responded by looking down, knowing that she had made a mistake.

Dr. Taoho was the head of the infirmary in the Sodality, and had been so for the past 20 years. He had a unique Craft that complemented his proffession. He was able to form a telepathic meld with his patients, in order to diagnose their illnesses.

Frannie was a frequent patient of his, and it was obvious to anyone that she had a schoolgirl's crush on the doctor. Although they didn't discuss it, both of them knew that the injuries were self-inflicted so that she could spend more time with him. Nevertheless, he treated her to the best of his abilities.

Orianna was sore, and bruised and aggravated after she left the group of beginners on their own, the aggravation caused by having to answer so many questions, and the soreness, bruises, cuts and swelling body was mainly due to Euphy. So she was heading to the infirmary, mainly in desperate need of a band-aid, bandage, or perhaps something that might be able to stop some internal bleeding. Stumbling into the room, a piece of old steak hanging loosely over her eye, which was starting to burn, and she walked in mumbling to herself.

Of course when she entered, she happened to stumble upon the familiar site of Franny digging her face into an area almost too close for comfort to a certain area and it caused the young woman to have a faint blush to rise to her face. “Err…uh…I’m just gonna grab a band-aid,” She said as she placed the steak on the counter, revealing her now completely black eye, as she rummaged through the doctor’s cabinets, “Don’t mind me…”
